Instagram has become a fundamental part
for me as a blogger, because personally I consider it as my second blog, on
which I have to take care, maintain always active and more important, have
attractive and persuasive photographs, so using these precise concepts the
question maybe is: What do I do to increase my followers on Instagram?
So, the answer is:
Post often, but not too often
The hardest thing on Instagram is knowing
when is the perfect time to upload a photo or how many photos to post per day.
A very cool tool to help you to find out is Iconosquare because it gives you an
aprox for each user on when and what time is best for you to share a photo.
Create original and quality photos
Use filters to make your photos look as
if they not have filters in excess, remember, less is more. My favorite
application to achieve that is VSCO Cam.
Take pictures with the best possible
light, always in focus and most importantly, that you like them!
Socialize. It's fun!
It´s always annoying to see thousands of
comments that not say nothing, but instead of doing this, you have to become an
expert in social media and the best way to achieve it is to be one of the few
people that actually have something to say about a photograph that they love,
maybe the other person on the same way will be inspired by your words and the
follow will come alone and the best part is that it give you a lot more
credibility.
Have a theme
Who likes to see a profile full of
selfies? I hate it, so having a particular theme, helps you to get followers
who identify and inspire by you and they will return if the content of your
gallery helps them for inspiration.
Don´t try hard on using obvious tags
If it's obvious that popular tags give
exposure, I've learned that tagging obvious things is not as much profitable as
using tags that are trending, for example: #whatimwearing #flatlay
#fromwhereistand and if your photo includes brands or persons not forget to tag
them too, because that helps you to make your photos having more exposure.
